Imagine Canada’s Standards Program was established in 2012 to strengthen the capacity of Canada’s charities and nonprofits through common standards of practice, and to build public confidence in the sector as a whole. To achieve accreditation, St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation Guelph underwent a peer review process.

To be accredited, the Foundation had to meet 73 different standards in five essential areas of operation – board governance, fundraising, financial accountability and transparency, staff management and volunteer involvement.

The Standards Program Trustmark is a mark of Imagine Canada used under licence by St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation Guelph.
