St. Joseph’s Health Centre Receives Esteemed Innovation and Excellence Workplace Quality Award

The Centre for Resilience, Learning & Growth, sponsored by Co-operators, has proudly received the esteemed Innovation and Excellence Award in Workplace Quality. This prestigious award from AdvantAge Ontario celebrates St. Joseph’s exceptional commitment to fostering workplace excellence through innovative strategies, encompassing areas such as health and safety, staff development, and recruitment and retention.
St. Joseph’s Health Centre Guelph established the Centre for Resilience, Learning & Growth to enhance the resilience and development of its people and its partners within the wider healthcare community. Sponsored by Co-operators’ generous $250,000 donation, The Centre serves as a central access point to a comprehensive array of relevant and meaningful learning opportunities designed to bolster resilience, personal growth and professional development. The unique and holistic approach equips learners with the tools, skills, knowledge and leadership capabilities to build compassion, enhance quality, improve safety and elevate care.
“The Centre’s programs are grounded in extensive research and best practices and cater to both clinical and non-clinical healthcare workers,” shared Sandra Ramelli, VP People & Strategy, with gratitude for the recognition. “We remain deeply thankful to Co-operators for enabling us to invest in building resilience and enhancing skills so that our people can bring their best selves to caring for each other and to the people we are privileged to serve.”
