St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation is proud to announce a $250,000 gift from the Jarrell Family Foundation in support of the Building Better Healthcare Campaign. This transformational gift will help fund essential medical equipment and technologies that enhance rehabilitation, dementia care, long term care and complex medical services at St. Joseph’s Health Centre Guelph.

The Jarrell family’s gift is supporting vital medical equipment, including one of the campaign’s most impactful investments: a new medication administration system. This advanced platform is designed to improve accuracy and efficiency in medication delivery, helping care teams spend more time with patients at the bedside.

In recognition of this gift, the innovative Multi Sensory Room at St. Joe’s, a therapeutic space that supports individuals living with dementia, has been named in honour of the Jarrell Family Foundation. The room’s calming lights, textures and interactive technology help reduce anxiety and promote well-being for those experiencing cognitive challenges.
