Beloved garden party fundraiser brings close to 1,000 community champions together in support of St. Joseph’s Building Better Healthcare Campaign

Guelph’s finest food and beverage establishments and hundreds of community members recently came together on the beautiful grounds of St. Joseph’s Health Centre for St. Joe’s signature fundraiser, Taste of Guelph, presented by Linamar. Thanks to the incredible generosity shown throughout the event, Taste of Guelph raised more than $185,000 in support of St. Joe’s specialized healthcare services.

Long celebrated as Guelph’s most beloved garden party fundraiser, Taste of Guelph once again brought together generous sponsors, dedicated volunteers and a guest list of friends and supporters for an unforgettable afternoon of exceptional local food and drink. Everyone enjoyed delicious tastings, live music and warm hospitality while celebrating the very best of our region’s culinary community.

St. Joseph’s Health Centre extends a huge and heartfelt thank you to the outstanding restaurants, caterers, wineries, craft breweries and bakeries who created an incredible experience for every guest. Their generosity, creativity and passion helped make this year’s event a true celebration of local flavour and community connection.

Funds raised through Taste of Guelph will directly support St. Joe’s $15 million Building Better Healthcare Campaign, which is helping advance better technologies, better spaces and better care for patients, residents, clients and families across Guelph and Wellington County.

“Every year, we are honoured to see our community come together for this special afternoon in support of St. Joe’s. We are incredibly grateful to our longtime presenting sponsor, Linamar, and to all of our sponsors and valued partners who continue to help make Taste of Guelph such a success,” says Jennifer Hall, VP, Development, St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation. “It is because of this incredible generosity and community spirit that we can continue building better healthcare for those facing life-altering health challenges, advanced disease and terminal illness.”

Planning is already underway for a very special milestone: the 30th anniversary of Taste of Guelph on Sunday, September 19, 2027. Mark your calendars and get ready to raise a glass to three decades of great taste, generous hearts and our community’s long-standing support of local healthcare services and programming.
