St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation Guelph is celebrating a remarkable act of generosity from the Barzotti Family. The family, owners of Barzotti Woodworking, have pledged a gift of $500,000 to St. Joseph’s Building Better Healthcare Campaign.

“Our family has always believed in giving back,” shares Rosanna Barzotti “Supporting St. Joe’s Building Better Healthcare Campaign is our way of helping ensure that when people need specialized healthcare services, they can find it close to home, in a place known for both its compassion and excellence.”

For decades, Vince and Bruna Barzotti have been more than business leaders — they have been steadfast supporters of St. Joseph’s and vital partners in building a stronger, healthier community. Their dedication to giving back has touched countless lives, and this most recent gift will help ensure the Campaign’s ambitious projects will be fully realized.

“This wonderful gift from the Barzotti Family reflects their enduring support of our community,” shares Susan Frasson, Honorary Campaign Chair. “They have always led with compassion and generosity, and this donation will play a pivotal role in helping us reach our goal and create the specialized healthcare services and supports that any of us could find ourselves in need of, at any time”.

The Barzottis hope to inspire others to lend their support to this vital Campaign. In fact, they have kindly designated the first $100,000 of their gift as a matching opportunity for St. Joseph’s upcoming Holiday Appeal. This means the first $100,000 raised by the community will be matched dollar-for-dollar, doubling the impact of each gift.

“The Barzotti Family are valued partners whose generosity has helped shape healthcare in Guelph for many years,” offered Sera Filice, St. Joseph’s Foundation CEO, “We are so grateful for the trust they place in St. Joseph’s and for the role they continue to play in caring for those facing serious injury, advanced disease and terminal illness”.

St. Joseph’s Building Better Healthcare Campaign is focused on bringing better technologies, better spaces, and better care to patients at St. Joseph’s. With the community’s support, this $15 million campaign will modernize spaces, support state of the art equipment and technologies, enhance programming, and improve care for those needing complex hospital services, palliative care, rehabilitation and long term care.
